Our Warranty training courses give you the best and most current information about Toyota/Lexus Warranty policies and procedures, as well as the do’s and the don’ts of claim processing.

Ever wonder why your claim goes into “Pending” status?  A claim could go into manual review (aka Pending) for many reasons, such as excessive labor hours due to Z-time or Others/Straight time, or high-dollar replacement parts. And, did you know that every time your claim is sent back for a correction, the 30-day review window starts all over again?  So instead of getting paid, your claim goes to the bottom of the pile and remains unpaid until all issues have been corrected. If you have a claim that goes back more than once for corrections, this could put a big dent in your repayment schedule.

  • Full review of available warranty resources, i.e., Claims Processing & Resource Center, Warranty Chatter, and Service Lane
  • Review the major functions of CPS, such as using the Part Wizard and Opcode Wizard
  • Words to avoid in your CCR
  • Proper parts retention and parts recovery requirements
  • Demonstration of CPS and working claim examples

One of the biggest benefits of attending our training classes is the hands-on training, as well as the chance to review a few of your most challenging claims stuck in Pending status.  You know the ones we’re talking about—the claims that keep bouncing back and forth. You’ve exhausted all of your resources and still can’t figure out why the claim hasn’t been paid!  We’ll review those challenging claims in class—you’ll see what the Warranty Processor is looking for, and we’ll show you how to fix the claim so it can be paid.
