Who Should Attend

If you’re a new service manager and/or director, or you’re new to the Lexus brand, this course will help you become more comfortable with Lexus warranty requirements.

What You Need to Know

This one-day course is taught by both the Warranty Training group and the Warranty Expense Control group. This team will review complex claim scenarios, discuss the intricacies of CPS, and cover the basics of the claim submission process, so you’ll know what your warranty administrators face daily.

Warranty Foundations I Lexus

If you’re a new warranty administrator, our Warranty Foundations I introductory course is designed for you. In this intensive, hands-on training class you’ll be introduced to Lexus warranty policies and procedures and the Claim Processing System (CPS). You’ll learn how to navigate the system, use the abundant available resources, and ultimately learn how to process claims more efficiently.

Our team of experienced warranty personnel will cover topics like:

CPS introduction (navigating and submitting claims)
Common claim errors
Using Warranty resources (Claim Processing and Resource Center, TIS, FRM)
Warranty processes (DOFU updates, Mileage Discrepancy Updates)

Who Should Attend

If you’re a new warranty administrator and/or new to submitting Lexus warranty claims, this class will help you process claims with confidence.

What You Need to Know

We strongly recommend completing the Warranty eLearning modules (E260/E261/E262) before attending the training class to help prepare you for the topics we’ll be covering. This one-day class is limited to 10 participants, so enroll early to secure a spot.

Cost

The course is $265 and will be billed to your dealer’s parts statement. The class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and includes breakfast and lunch. Regular breaks throughout the day will keep you refreshed and energized.

Warranty Foundations II Lexus

If you’re a warranty administrator who is comfortable with the basics of Lexus warranty claim processing and you want to take your skills to the next level, Warranty Foundations II is designed for you. You’ll increase your knowledge of key warranty policies and procedures, discover the importance of RO documentation and delve into some of the more complex claim scenarios.

Our team of experienced warranty personnel will cover complex claims like:

High-dollar claims (short block replacements, transmission repairs, etc.)
Excessive Z-time and Others/99 labor hours
Customer Support Programs and Special Service Campaigns
Authorization for repairs (SMAP, DSPM, goodwill)

Who Should Attend

If you’ve successfully completed Warranty Foundations I and are experienced with submitting Lexus warranty claims, you’ll benefit from this next level of training.

What You Need to Know

We encourage you to bring a few examples of some of your most challenging claims in Pending Judgment or Pending Audit status to review and practice what you’ve learned. Class space is limited to 10, so enroll early to secure a spot!
